Established in 1998, GSH began its operations in San Francisco, California, USA. We immediately positioned ourselves at the forefront of Shariah compliant investments and were pioneers in the field of Shariah compliant public equity. We offered our clients the opportunity to invest in the Global Equity Markets through our comprehensive Shariah screening process which provided peace of mind to our clients and upheld their Shariah values. Keen to protect the interests of our clients and to maintain the high quality of investments, we relocated to Kuwait in 2002, and were established as Global Securities House for Financial and Economic Consultancy LLC. Following the economic downturn in world equity markets GSH Kuwait changed its focus to real estate. Turning our attention to the real estate markets we expanded our business operations in France, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

This led to the development and introduction of the Shariah Ijarah French real estate structures. Unprecedented in France at the time, many investment companies have since tried to emulate our real estate blueprint. In 2004 we turned our attention back to the US and have purchased several high quality, fully stabilized, income producing assets offering excellent yields. We have also invested in other real estate classes such as Medical Facilities. Having maintained our interest in Europe, our investments in France and the UK have performed above our expectations. We are continually looking to develop innovative investment structures and opportunities to expand into other global markets.
